Please note that if we have a lawsuit pending against you, and you pay less than the total balance due including court costs, we intend to seek a judgment on the court date.  In addition to the current amount of the debt, less credits for payments made, we will request the court costs and interest at the rate of 6% for Virginia suits and 10% for Maryland suits from the date of judgment, as stated on your Warrant in Debt (Virginia) or Complaint (Maryland).
